California college tour for students and parents

It all started when...

7/14/2017-7/21.  One state, California, is blessed with more of the best universities and colleges than any other state.  Like the East Coast College Tour,  we will cover 15 schools from extremely selective to moderately competitive, large research universities to small liberal arts colleges.  The list of schools will vary according to the interests of the group, which will be no larger than ten students and their parents.  At some universities, we will have exclusive sessions with faculty and private tours of the campus.  An example of some of the schools we will visit:  UC Berkeley, Stanford, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly, Cal Tech, Pomona, Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, UCLA, Cal Arts, Art Center College of Design, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, UC San Diego, and University of San Diego.  This tour is designed for parents to accompany their students and take side trips of their own not more than 30-60 minutes away.  While your student is learning and visiting college campuses, you can visit the Filoli estate, enjoy the Legion of Honor or the gardens of Golden Gate Park, take in a Berkeley Rep show, dine at Chez Panisse, walk the gardens of the Huntington Library, see some contemporary art at MOCA, catch a symphony at Walt Disney Concert Hall, see a play at REDCAT or the Segerstrom Center, wine taste in Paso Robles or Santa Barbara county, lunch al fresco at the Four Seasons Santa Barbara, surf or just lay on the beach at Laguna Beach, or shop La Jolla, Costa Mesa, and Newport Beach.  All ExecuTutor Guided College Tours include land transport and accommodation.  The price does not include the cost for parents, but we can add the land transport and hotel accommodations for you, as well as provide information for any and all of the above recommendations for a supplemental fee.
